[Description]

This product raw powder is yellowish brown.

[Pharmacological Action]

This product is monovalent ion carrier type broad-spectrum coccidiostat. It has good killing effect to various chicken and turkey coccidiosis. Its action peak is on the first two days of coccidium life circle, and has inhibiting effect to sporozoite and first generation agamont, and it will play best function when feeded on the second day of coccidiosis. And it can interfere normal interchange of K+ and Na+ in the cell, and makes large quantity of Na+ and water into cell, which causes cell swelling to death. Besides, Monensin has strong antibacterial action towards some gram-positive bacterium such as staphylococcus aureus, streptococcus, clostridium perfringens, and it can promote animal growth, put on weight, and improve feed return.

[Usage and dosage]

Premix 20%: Calculated based on this product.

Mixed in feedstuff: every 1000kg feed, 450~550g for chicken.

Premix 40%: Calculated based on this product.

Mixed in feedstuff: every 1000kg feed, 225~275g for chicken.

[Side effect]

When adding amount in the feed is above 120mg/kg, it shall cause the decline of chicken growth rate and feed return.

[Notice]

(1) Turkey, guinea fowl and bird above 10 weeks old is sensitive to this product, hence not suitable for application; forbidden to use on chicken above 16 weeks old; forbidden to use on egg chicken during egg producing period.

(2) Monensin and feed should be mixed evenly and properly before application, and forbidden to feed undiluted Monensin directly.

(3) Forbidden to use together with Tiamulin Fumarate and Oleandomycin, or it might cause risk of toxic.

(4) Forbidden to use on equine.

(5) Avoid to exposure to skin and eyes when mixed and stirred.
